Simple New Square For You

September 14, by jd wolfe. 9 Comments

Anastacia has designed a new square that I think is very attractive.  This would work up to a very pretty shawl, throw, or babyghan, depending on the color(s) you choose to work with.  A checkerboard design would be especially nice for a babyghan, don’t you think?

This one is simple enough for a beginner to work up a stunning project.  Anastacia offers her pattern for free.  She has some other nice crochet patterns that you might enjoy.  I think her Treble Stitch Face Cloth would make a nice gift. I really like the chunky textural appearance this stitch pattern creates.

Despite the fact that she calls her blog Anastacia Knits, there’s plenty of crochet there.  Nose around her blog to see what other goodies are there!

Anastacia has some wonderful shawl patterns too. She’s one of my favorite designers.
    Thanks for posting about her.

I missed it looking the first time too. It says “pattern for free.” Located on the right hand side of second picture.
