Tania Romualdo is a very prolific crochet artist – and she comes up with some fantastic small (and sometimes large) projects to recycle simple, everyday objects we might find around our homes.  While her blog is in Portugese, she writes English very well!

I think the items pictured at the top of this article would make great favors for a wedding, done in the proper colors.  Here’s another recycling idea from Tania:
