TEENY TEA FOR TWO

January 27, by jd wolfe. 7 Comments

This is about the most charming little tea set I’ve ever seen!  I was so happy to see it when the blog owner Papgena sent the link to me.  I can’t imagine a more lovely Easter gift for a little Princess.

http://papgenamadeit.blogspot.com/2011/01/cha-tea.html

The patterns for the tea set can be found in this book which is widely available at Amazon.com and Half.com as well as other sites.

This little book by Ana Paula Rimoli contains 25 patterns.  I haven’t seen the book personally, but if this cute tea set is any indication – and you’re a fan of amigurumi – the book might be a keeper.

And, if you are a fan of amigurumi, you’ll love reading Pagpena’s Amigurumi Sagas.  Check them out starting here .  Scroll down to see the cute amigurumi animal the click on the links to see the rest of the Saga.  You might find it easier to use a Google link to open the sites and opt to have Google translate them for you.

Now all I need is an extra 20 hours in a day, to make these up for the monsters.

When my daughter was 9 she had a tea party birthday party. I crocheted tea cups with saucers similar to these for each girl. They were the place setting and party favor. I put a “tea tag” with the girls name on the handle with ribbon, put pastel mints in a snack bag inside the cup.
They seemed to be a big hit!
