March 23, 2020 by Shellie Wilson

As we continue to navigate through the pandemic, many of us have been looking for ways to cope with the stress and anxiety that come with these uncertain times. One fun and creative way to pass the time and relieve stress is through crochet, and these crochet keepsakes are a great project to get started with.

While we all hope that we won’t need a physical reminder of COVID-19 in the future, making a little crochet keepsake can be a fun way to cope with the situation we’re in. These little crocheted creatures can be made in a variety of shapes and sizes, from a simple ball to a more elaborate design. They’re perfect for tossing around the room when you need to let off some steam or squeezing them when you need to release some stress.

In addition to being a fun and creative way to pass the time, making crochet keepsakes is also a great way to stay connected with others. You can share your creations with friends and family, or even join a virtual crochet group to meet new people and learn new skills.

One of the best things about making these little crochet keepsakes is that they’re so quick and easy to make. Depending on the complexity of the design you choose, you can easily make several of these little creatures in a day. This makes them a great project to work on during lockdown or any other time when you have a bit of free time on your hands.

There are many different patterns available online for crochet keepsakes, so you’re sure to find one that suits your style and skill level. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced crocheter, there’s a pattern out there that you’ll enjoy making. And because these keepsakes are so small, you can use up any scraps of yarn you have lying around, making them a great way to use up your stash.

So if you’re looking for a fun and creative way to pass the lockdown time, why not try making some of these cute little crochet keepsakes? Whether you’re making them for yourself or to share with others, they’re sure to bring a smile to your face and help you cope with the stresses of these challenging times.

I don’t know what this first little guy is so angry about he is the one who caused all the trouble. This little red one is more of a ninja virus. This one is green and angry.

This pattern looks like trumpets coming out of its head but still adorable. This is the one I like to call the eyeball one.

Red and detailed this virus free pattern  looks like he is a science model.

Planning on making one? Tell us what you are doing with it and how you will use it.
