I think every Halloween home needs a friendly spidery doily. This one, designed and offered as a free pattern by Betty Johnson, (see link below) is perfect! It works up very quickly so you can make more than one if you want to be sure to have all your Halloween ‘bases’ covered.

So you’ve walked through one of those all-over-spider-coutie-feeling webs and need something to wash off the couties? Why not a cute little eight-legged spider cloth? This would do the trick. And, it might even have enough spider-resistant power to keep all those spidery webs away from you. Good to know on a dark night…
Still some of us actually don’t mind spiders. Especially if they look like the Super Hero kind. I think this one would have very strong mojo for keeping bad things away – and I think it’s darn cute! I bet there’s a kid in your life who would think so, too. Why not make a few – one for him/her and one for you. Just to keep the mojo thing going on.
All three of these projects work up quickly, make use of small amounts of yarn you likely have on hand, and will add just the right amount of spidery-ness to your Halloween. Hope you like them!
