Angela Best has a new design out that is different from any I’ve seen.

This is not a free pattern, but it’s very reasonably priced.  Angela has created a lot of really cool and unusual designs over the years I’ve been a fan of her work.  Oh, don’t be confused.  She has two names she’s known by – Angela and Lavonne.  Don’t know which one she prefers, but I do know that she’s a fantastic crocheter.  You can get this pattern here where you can also see it in several different yarns.  You can make the scarf shown here or combine more of the motifs to make a stunning wrap.  Have at it!

OK, are you making this? I stared at it and have decided it is not motifs. Or wrong?

    Barbara,
I have not made this, but in her description of the pattern, Angela states that the ‘motif’ will block a certain dimension. I can’t give you a definite answer, but it looks to me that these are motifs that are joined as you go.
