Even though this video is 3 years old, I had to share it with you as the Willow Sqaure is trending at the moment. Surprisingly we have not featured a willow square crochet pattern before. This square is made up of double crochet, chains and slip stitches. With these simple and easy to follow step by step instructions anyone can make this willow square.
A Willow Granny Square is a type of crochet motif characterized by its intricate design and texture. It typically features a combination of stitches, including double crochets and special stitches like the popcorn stitch. The name “Willow” may refer to the delicate and flowing nature of the design, reminiscent of the branches of a willow tree.
This granny square pattern often incorporates various stitches and techniques to create visual interest and dimension. While it can be more complex than traditional granny squares, with careful attention to detail and following clear instructions, crocheters of various skill levels can create stunning projects using Willow Granny Squares.

I don’t know if I can pick just one favorite post, but I can tell you what I really appreciate about your posts in general that makes them unique. I LOVE that you review older books and patterns. I am grateful that crochet has taken a turn toward more modern, fashion-forward designs, but there’s so much great info in the older stuff as well. Keep up the good work!
